All meat and poultry product placed inside a display caddy must be fully labeled with all mandatory labeling features of an immediate container per 9 CFR 317.2 or 381 Subpart N. Display caddies when used as a shipping container are required to bear the mark of inspection and may continue to bear the mark of inspection when used as a caddie at retail for one-time use display. Display caddies may bear other labeling features as duplicated from the approved product labeling for the product or products within the display caddy.
